This gorgeous giant pull-down counterbalanced brass and glass library lamp once hung in a hall with 14 foot ceilings in a European mansion. It was made in Belgium by the L&B company. The beautiful yellow shade is surrounded by a net of lovely Bohemian gypsy crystal beads. High quality crystal prisms glitter everywhere and catch the light beautifully. The oil lamp itself is circled by a ring of brass candle holders with yellow glass drip trays. Yellow glass "candles" are placed in each holder - these can be removed when real candles are used. It measures 30 inches in diameter by 55 inches high - definitely needs a high ceiling or wide stairwell to hang in! I think that there are another set of straps which would increase the height from 55 to around 75 inches if required. Also I have another matching library lamp in beautiful baby blue with dragons on the brass arms which will also be listed.
