This big magnificent antique gilded brass gothic church chandelier is in good condition. With all of its chain it would have hung more than 8 fet down from the ceiling. Each part including the chain is made of solid brass. The chandelier must date back to the early 1900s although it has been rewired recently. This lamp takes the normal size light bulbs - either regular or candle shaped (bulbs are not shipped). Lamp worked fine when tested (wiring and local codes should always be carefully checked and upgraded as required before installing any vintage electrical fitting). It measures 27 inches in diameter by 48 inches high from the bottom bulb to the top of the ceiling fitting excluding any of the long chain above the cross. There is an additional 54 inches of thick brass chain for hanging the chandelier (can be shortened or added to).
