This is a wonderful and very rare old Art Deco glass lamp globe in good condition - no chips or cracks. It has a gorgeous raised design of birds amongst a stylistic setting. It is signed around the inner top rim "Muller Fres Luneville". These two brothers originally worked as artists for Lalique. They left Lalique and set up their own company together in Luneville in the Alsace Lorraine area of France. Their company was in business until the start of the second world war. I am told that this is one of only two known existing globes of this type in clear with frosted glass. Measures 10 inches diameter and height. Rim which fits in lamp has outer diameter of 4.125 inches.
