This wonderful rare cuckoo clock was made by the Junghans Clock Company in the Black Forest region of Germany in the 1920-30s. The wind-up movement is original and has been completely overhauled and restored to great working condition. The carved painted wooden bird calls out each hour and half hour with its pair of bellows and the clock also strikes a melodious deep gong at the same time. Key is included. It measures 11.5 inches by 8 inches by 16 inches high. Including the pendulum the height is 22 inches high.
