Ref No n3900 Lovely Antique American Ladies Writing Desk Gorgeous antique American ladies writing desk. Looks to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Writing slab slides away into a recess with cubby holes and drawer with flip down desk lid. Very compact and was designed to be portable with removable legs that neatly bolt on in the corners. Desk itself measures 41 inches wide x 21.5 deep x 33 tall. The writing slab measures 25 inches wide x 17.75 deep. There are also two little drawers with elegant brass pulls on either end of the desk. There is a partial grain split on one side desk surface but it is not severe and could easily be clamped and glued tight. It made of a very attractive quality hardwood. A very beautiful piece indeed. Buyer to arrange for pick up or delivery of these drawers (we are willing to help with arrangements). Crating and long distance freight shipping costs would be very high outside of Canada. Ref No pb1005 Rare 1800s Charcoal Foot Warmer for Horse Open Carriage This is a very rare museum quality item in excellent condition.
