Ref No n4291 Yellow European Brass Bohemian Crystal Oil Library Lamp This gorgeous giant pull-down counterbalanced brass and glass library lamp once hung in a hall with 14 foot ceilings in a European mansion. It was made in Belgium by the L&B company. The beautiful yellow shade is surrounded by a net of lovely Bohemian gypsy crystal beads. High quality crystal prisms glitter everywhere and catch the light beautifully. The oil lamp itself is circled by a ring of brass candle holders with yellow glass drip trays. Yellow glass "candles" are placed in each holder - these can be removed when real candles are used. It measures 30 inches in diameter by 55 inches high - definitely needs a high ceiling or wide stairwell to hang in! I think that there are another set of straps which would increase the height from 55 to around 75 inches if required. Ref No pb023 Signed Muller Lalique Art Deco Lamp Globe This is a wonderful and very rare old Art Deco glass lamp globe in good condition - no chips or cracks. It has a gorgeous raised design of birds amongst a stylistic setting. It is signed around the inner top rim "Muller Fres Luneville". These two brothers originally worked as artists for Lalique. They left Lalique and set up their own company together in Luneville in the Alsace Lorraine area of France. Their company was in business until the start of the second world war. I am told that this is one of only two known existing globes of this type in clear with frosted glass. Measures 10 inches diameter and height.
